Producer

Domaine Jacques Prieur

France

Founded in 1868, Domaine Jacques Prieur is a Burgundy producer with holdings across many of the region’s most prestigious terroirs in both the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits, including grand cru and premier cru sites as well as three monopoles. The estate has farmed organically since 1997 and biodynamically since 2009, showing a long-standing low-intervention approach in the vineyard. It has been controlled by the Labruyère family since 1988, with Édouard Labruyère managing the domaine since 2008 alongside support from the Prieur heirs and five French families. Nadine Gublin, appointed in 1990, is the principal winemaker.
