Domaine Gringet

France

Domaine du Gringet is a boutique estate in Ayze, Savoie, cultivating centennial vines on white- and yellow-marl slopes, including the south-facing lieux-dits Le Pré Milleret and Chez Reydet. The domaine farms biodynamically, though it is not certified, and is pursuing organic certification. Yields are deliberately reduced; tractors have been removed to limit soil compaction, while wild grasses are encouraged. Following founder Dominique Belluard’s death, the estate is managed by his partner Valérie with friends Franck Balthazar and Jean-François Ganevat, with plans to transition to a new entity. Winemaking is currently overseen by Vincent Ruiz, continuing Belluard’s legacy through limited, small-lot, terroir-driven wines.
