Domaine de Vaufuget is a family-owned Loire Valley producer established in 1982, with vineyards upstream from Tours. Its Vouvray comes from clay-limestone and clay-siliceous soils over chalky tuffeau rock. Grapes are hand-harvested in October, with some noble rot contributing to the wine’s character. Aging takes place in troglodyte cellars carved into the tuffeau, providing naturally stable temperatures. The available offering appears modest and focused, though no production volume or vineyard acreage is documented. No sustainability certifications or specific farming practices are identified.
