Domaine Alain Burguet

France

Domaine Alain Burguet is a family domaine in Gevrey-Chambertin, Côte de Nuits, founded by Alain Burguet in 1974 and now led by Jean-Luc. Its vineyards have been farmed sustainably since the 1980s, combining organic and biodynamic methods, manual work, limited yields, and attention to natural and lunar cycles. The domaine follows an artisanal, low-intervention approach: grapes are carefully sorted, gently extracted through long maceration, and aged on lees in barrel. Wines are bottled by gravity without fining or filtration, with low sulfite use and no temperature correction. Elegant, complex, and structured, they emphasize aromatic purity, freshness, precision, and a clear expression of Burgundy terroir.
