Domaine Armelle et Bernard Rion is a family-run estate in Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits, owned and operated by Armelle and Bernard Rion with their daughters Nelly, Mélissa and Alice, and son-in-law Louis. The domaine farms 8 hectares under Environmental High Value level 3 certification, awarded in 2019, using sustainable agriculture without insecticides or herbicides. Grapes are harvested by hand, destalked and fermented in cement tanks, with élevage in French oak. Armelle and Bernard lead the winemaking, working with parcels including Dame Marguerite, Marcel Héritage and Dame Juliette.
