Château Fombrauge

France

Château Fombrauge is a historic Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé estate, with first harvests dating back to 1599. Owned by Bernard Magrez and part of his portfolio of Bordeaux Grands Crus Classés, the property combines heritage with a modern, sustainability-focused approach. Farming is based on precision viticulture, low yields and self-sustaining practices, with organic, Demeter, Biodyvin, Growing Tomorrow and HVE certifications, plus horse work in the vineyards. Winemaking is overseen by consultant Michel Rolland, with élevage using a mix of new and used oak alongside cement tanks, shaping a polished, carefully managed Bordeaux style.
