Nittardi

Italy

Nittardi is a historic, family-run organic boutique winery in the heart of Chianti Classico, Tuscany, with a profound connection to art dating back to its 16th-century owner, Michelangelo Buonarroti. Owned by the Canali-Femfert family since 1982, the estate farms 40 hectares of vineyards across Chianti Classico and Maremma, all certified organic since 2017 and now holding the prestigious Equalitas sustainability certification. Production is modest at around 120,000 bottles annually, emphasizing manual vineyard work, gentle winemaking, and a deep respect for terroir. Each year, a renowned international artist creates the label for its flagship wine, continuing a unique tradition that blends fine wine with contemporary culture.
