Henkell & Co. Sektkellerei is a historic German sparkling wine producer based in Wiesbaden in the Rheingau, with roots reaching back to Adam Henkell’s wine business, founded in 1832, and sparkling wine production beginning in 1856. The house combines French champagne-making techniques with German cellar expertise and is best known for its flagship Henkell Trocken. Its historic facilities include the Henkell Marble Hall, Adam Cellar and sparkling wine manufactory. Now part of the family-owned Henkell Freixenet partnership, Henkell has long been an export pioneer, with wines distributed internationally. Since 2021, all Henkell varieties have been officially vegan-certified.
