Domaine Amiot-Servelle

France

Domaine Amiot-Servelle is a family estate based in Chambolle-Musigny in Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits, with roots dating to the 1920s. After Christian Amiot and Elisabeth Servelle, the domaine is now led by their children, Prune and Antoine Amiot-Servelle, who also make the wines. The vineyards, centered on Chambolle-Musigny with holdings in Morey-Saint-Denis and Gevrey-Chambertin, have been farmed organically since 2003 and certified since 2008; biodynamic practices are also noted. Work in the vines emphasizes compost, ploughing, manual harvest, careful sorting, and yield control. In the cellar, the approach is traditional and natural, with no added yeasts or enzymes, élevage in oak, and bottling with minimal or no filtration. Production is very limited.
