Chateau Thibeaud Maillet

France

Château Thibeaud Maillet is a small, family-owned estate on Pomerol’s eastern slope, founded by the Thibeaud family in the early 19th century. Its approximately 2-hectare vineyard is planted entirely to Merlot, with 25–50-year-old vines rooted in sandy and gravelly soils over blue-clay veins. The estate has held HVE certification since 2019 and follows manual, low-intervention practices, with most vineyard work carried out by horse. Its limited acreage results in modest production and a focused, artisanal expression of Pomerol.
