Château Haut-Garriga

France

Château Haut-Garriga is a family-owned estate in Grézillac, Entre-deux-Mers, run by the Barreau family for six generations since 1782. Winemaker Alain Barreau continues the family tradition across the Haut-Garriga and Coutreau properties. The estate is an independent, committed producer certified Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE) since 2019, practising sustainable viticulture on varied clay-limestone and river-influenced soils. Its range includes fresh, fruity and elegant reds, crisp whites, fresh rosé, and Crémants de Bordeaux made traditionally. The wines have received recognition at Bordeaux and Paris competitions, including a gold medal for the 2021 Bordeaux Rosé.
