Château Moulin Haut-Laroque is a family-run estate in Fronsac, Bordeaux, owned by the Hervé family and managed across generations by Jean-Noël and Dominique Hervé, with Thomas Hervé overseeing daily operations. The property has deep roots in Saillans, with first bottlings at the château dating to 1890. Its clay-limestone vineyards include many old vines, including parcels of very old Malbec. Vineyard work and harvest are carried out by hand, with careful selection in the vines and cellar. Winemaking combines traditional family continuity with modern gravity-fed vinification, barrel malolactic fermentation, and French oak aging, with Michel Rolland consulting. Alongside the grand vin, the estate also makes Château Hervé-Laroque, plus limited Blanc de Moulin Haut-Laroque and, since 2024, Villa Boomerang rosé.
