Camaleão is a small, independent winery in Portugal’s Minho region, founded around 2010 by viticulture professor João Almeida, who remains its sole owner and winemaker. The estate focuses on white wines made from Alvarinho, Loureiro and Sauvignon Blanc. Almeida’s background in viticulture and intention to devote more time to winemaking give the project a distinctly personal, hands-on character. No sustainability certifications or specific environmental practices are reported.
