Magna Vides

Spain

Magna Vides is a small, family-run estate in La Aguilera, Ribera del Duero, founded by Pablo Arranz and Andrea Sanz. Andrea leads the winemaking while Pablo oversees the vineyards, including old vines and recovered plantings across varied soils and elevations. Farming is organic and biodynamic in practice, though not formally certified, with no herbicides, organic fertilizers, dry farming, minimal intervention and a strong focus on biodiversity. The estate works to conserve old Tempranillo genetics and revive varieties including Albillo Mayor, Garnacha, Bobal and Monastrell. Its wines are made with a precise, minimalist approach intended to preserve transparency and terroir, while the family restores a historic underground cellar.
