France

Bruno Duchêne is a small family-run domaine in Banyuls and Collioure in Languedoc-Roussillon, founded in 2002 by owner-winemaker Bruno Duchêne. Working steep schist terraces above the Côte Vermeille, he farms organically and biodynamically, often without formal certification, with hand-planted and hand-worked vineyards using very low chemical inputs, no copper, and only limited sulfur treatments. The estate follows a natural-wine approach, with spontaneous fermentations and generally no added sulfites. Old vines of Grenache and Carignan are central to the range, producing low-yield, artisanal wines shaped by the rugged hillside sites. Bruno Duchêne learned winemaking with Frédéric Cossard at Domaine Chassorney and remains closely involved in every aspect of the domaine.
