Bedouet Vigneron is a four-generation, family-owned estate in the Muscadet region near Nantes, with holdings in Le Pallet and La Haye-Fouassière. Michel Bedouet purchased the vineyards in 1990 and remains the winemaker, alongside Antonin and Henri Bedouet. The estate has farmed organically since 2010, incorporating hedgerows, wildlife corridors and grazing meadows to support biodiversity. Its vineyards include Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine sur Lie made entirely from Melon de Bourgogne, planted on varied soils including gneiss, mica schist, gabbro, amphibolite and orthogneiss. The wines reflect a family-led approach rooted in organic viticulture and the distinct geology of the Loire’s Muscadet country.
