Mastroberardino

Italy

Mastroberardino is a historic family-owned winery in Campania, Italy, now in its tenth generation. The family, led by Antonio Mastroberardino and his sons, is credited with reviving and preserving ancient indigenous varieties like Greco di Tufo and Fiano di Avellino after WWII. Their philosophy centers on a deep connection to the Irpinia terroir. Vineyards are farmed organically and biodynamically, certified under the VIVA Sustainable Wine program. The winery also undertakes significant cultural projects, such as replanting vineyards in ancient Pompeii. They produce a range of wines focused on native grapes, including flagship Taurasi, Fiano, Greco, and Falanghina.
