Domaine Jérôme Fornerot

France

Domaine Jérôme Fornerot is a family-owned estate in Saint-Aubin, Burgundy, led by owner-winemaker Jérôme Fornerot. Established in 2004, it continues a Fornerot family presence in the village and vineyards that stretches back centuries. The domaine works across Saint-Aubin, Santenay, Maranges and Bourgogne, focusing on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Farming is described as sustainable and reasoned, with controlled inputs, moderate ploughing, and pruning that includes Guyot Poussard. Harvests are done by hand in a family spirit. In the cellar, Jérôme follows a traditional Burgundian approach: manual sorting, indigenous yeasts for the whites, gentle extraction for Pinot Noir, barrel ageing, and estate bottling, with an emphasis on preserving terroir expression, balance, and character.
