Château Haut Barrail

Château Haut Barrail is a family-owned estate in Bordeaux’s Médoc, owned and managed by Cyril Gillet since 1987. The first vintage was released in 1995, and Gillet oversees both vineyard work and winemaking. Its 15-hectare vineyard lies on calcareous clay soils and is planted with 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. Farming follows traditional methods, with no formal sustainability certification reported. The estate produces on a modest scale, reflecting a hands-on family operation.
