Müller-Catoir is a long-established family estate in the Pfalz, now led by ninth-generation owner Philipp David Catoir. Based on the Mittelhaardt, its vineyards lie in Haardt, Gimmeldingen, Mußbach and Neustadt, across a varied mix of sandstone, limestone, loess, gravel and clay soils that shape the wines’ mineral profile. The estate is organically farmed and EU-organic certified, with hand-picking, minimal handling and spontaneous fermentations central to its approach; many wines are also vegan. A VDP member, Müller-Catoir produces estate-grown wines across VDP classifications, with a house style described as intricate, elegant and direct, marked by mineral freshness and clean fruit.
