Luddite Wines is a boutique, family-run winery in the Bot River valley of the Overberg, Western Cape. Owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Niels and Penny Verburg, the farm was purchased after their return from Europe. Niels leads the winemaking, while Penny oversees viticulture. The estate cultivates approximately 8 hectares of vines and produces four wines—two whites and two reds—reflecting a focused, hands-on operation. No sustainability certifications or specific environmental initiatives are noted.
