Donna Paolina

Italy

Founded in 2011, Donna Paolina is a Campanian project created through a collaboration involving the Alois family and two other local wine figures, including oenologist Carmine Valentino and vineyard owner Gerardo Contrada. The winery focuses on native grapes from the Greco di Tufo, Fiano di Avellino, and Taurasi DOCG areas, alongside Falanghina. Each variety is planted in a dedicated vineyard, allowing differences in soil, exposure, and climate to shape the wines: Greco di Tufo grows in the sandy, mineral soils of Marotta, Fiano in the southeastern-facing Parite site in Candida, Falanghina in volcanic Pontelatone, and Aglianico for Taurasi in Poppano–San Mango sul Calore. Its approach is distinctly site-focused and terroir-driven.
