Bodegas Fariña

Spain

Family-owned Bodegas Fariña is based in Spain’s D.O. Toro and led by second-generation owner and winemaker Manuel Fariña. Its wines express the character of the region, combining traditional ungrafted Tinta de Toro vines with modern viticultural practices. The estate uses double-Guyot trellising, plot-specific sensors to monitor humidity and predict disease, and detailed plant-nutrition analysis, while also experimenting with canopy-health systems and collaborating with native yeasts. Grapes are additionally sourced from local growers working under the winery’s technical guidelines. BRC and IFS certifications support its structured approach to production and food safety.
