Vignai da Duline is a family-run estate in the Colli Orientali of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, founded in 1997 by husband-and-wife team Lorenzo Mocchiutti and Federica Magrini. Focused on indigenous varieties and ancient vines, the estate farms organically with biodynamic-inspired methods rooted in permaculture and the Fukuoka approach. Their practices include cover cropping, no tillage, no irrigation, no added fertiliser, and no herbicides, with grass used as natural fertilizer. Certified organic by ICEA from 1997 to 2018 and by CEVIQ since 2019, the estate is led in the vineyard and cellar by Lorenzo, with both partners overseeing production.
