Ronco del Gnemiz

Italy

Ronco del Gnemiz is a family-owned estate in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, near the historic abbey of Rosazzo. Owned by Serena Palazzolo since 1990, it is run by Serena with her husband Christian Patat and their children, giving the winery a strongly hands-on family character. The vineyards are farmed organically, although no formal certification is mentioned. Winemaking is led by Serena Palazzolo with significant input from Christian Patat, who is noted for his deep wine knowledge. The estate’s identity is rooted in family ownership, organic vineyard work, and a focused, artisanal approach in the cellar.
