Pagos del Camino is a small, low-yield Rioja project founded and led by winemaker Miguel Ángel Rodríguez, operating within the Vinícola Real family. Its vineyards lie in the high-altitude western Rioja Alta, where traditional bush-trained vines—many of them old—grow across calcareous-clay, iron-rich and alluvial soils. The estate follows traditional, natural viticulture that respects organic principles and uses environmentally friendly farming methods, although no formal certification is mentioned. Manual harvesting and modest production reflect a focus on quality over volume.
