Domaine des Bastides is a family-owned estate in Puy-Sainte-Réparade, Provence, founded by Jean Salen in 1967 and now owned and led by his daughter, Carole Salen, who is also the winemaker. Its vineyards are farmed organically, without formal certification mentioned, and have been cultivated this way for more than 40 years. Working across 17 parcels, the domaine produces wines in very small lots, including a Coteaux d’Aix Blanc made from a single tank. In the cellar, spontaneous fermentations, minimal sulfur, no acid adjustments, rare fining and minimal filtration reflect a low-intervention approach. Carole works with two full-time staff and seasonal helpers.
