Bodegas Cachazo

Spain

Family-owned Bodegas Cachazo is owned and run by Félix Lorenzo Cachazo and his family in Alcazarén, Rueda, Castilla y León. All its fruit comes from the village, including estate vines aged from 10 to 140 years. The winery focuses on native varieties and terroir expression, producing a broad range of whites led by Verdejo—including the Carrasviñas line—as well as traditional oxidative Palomino blends. Grapes are hand-harvested and fermented under temperature control, with an emphasis on old-vine character. The family also supports local growers as part of an effort to help curb rural depopulation.
