Tenuta Mazzolino

Italy

Tenuta Mazzolino is a family-run estate in Corvino San Quirico, in Lombardy’s Oltrepò Pavese, founded by Enrico Braggiotti in 1981 and now led by the third generation, Francesca Seralvo. Set on the historic “Pinot Noir hill,” its steep, varied clay, calcareous and sandy soils are divided into 39 separately managed parcels, each with its own identity. The estate follows organic farming principles, using green manure and treatments limited to copper and sulfur. Pinot Noir is the focus, expressed in both still wines and Metodo Classico sparkling wines, with a Burgundian influence shaped by consultant Kyriakos Kynigopoulos since 1999. The wines aim to convey the character of their individual sites and the family’s close connection to the land.
