Rossignol‑Trapet is a family-run domaine in Gevrey‑Chambertin, Burgundy, owned by brothers Nicolas and David Rossignol, who took over the estate in 1990, with Nicolas as winemaker. Based on limestone-clay soils, the estate has farmed biodynamically since 1997 and has been fully biodynamic since 2004, with organic certification from Ecocert and biodynamic certification from Demeter. Its vineyards are centered in Gevrey‑Chambertin, including old vines in Chambertin on the upper hillside, where cooler conditions and the influence of the Combe Grisard contribute freshness and a strong expression of terroir. The domaine’s profile is one of careful, quality-focused viticulture and traditional family stewardship.
