Bodegas Naia

Spain

Bodegas Naia is a Rueda producer based in La Seca, in Castilla y León, founded in 2002 and owned by Avante Selecta, the wine division of Inveravante. The estate focuses on the original local Verdejo clone, working with old bush-trained vines, including very old parcels, and also buying fruit from local growers. Its aim is to show Verdejo with authenticity and character, making whites that are fresh yet broad and flavorful. Vineyard and cellar work described includes manual and night harvesting, selection tables, low-temperature fermentation, and lees aging. Notes also highlight calcareous, stony soils and Laura Sanz’s local roots and commitment to traditional viticulture.
