France

Thibaud Boudignon is an independent producer in the Loire Valley, working in Anjou and Savennières since 2009 under his own name. He wholly owns and runs the estate, personally overseeing the vineyard work and winemaking. The domaine focuses on Chenin Blanc from mature, high-density plantings on shallow grey schist and rhyolite soils, with several micro-vineyards. Farming is organic, with biodynamic viticulture also practiced. In the cellar, fermentations use native yeasts and malolactic fermentation is avoided to preserve freshness and acidity. The wines are made with a clear terroir-driven, artisanal philosophy centered on careful vineyard work and sustainable farming.
