Family-run Weingut Silvia Heinrich is based in Deutschkreutz, Central Burgenland, where Silvia Heinrich has led the estate since 2010 alongside her parents. The winery has focused exclusively on red wine since 2009, with Blaufränkisch at its core and vinified in seven styles. Its vineyards include the historic Goldberg, where vines planted by Silvia’s grandparents in 1947 remain in production, on deep, calcareous loam and related soils. The estate emphasizes working with nature through hand-harvesting, manual vineyard work, year-round greening, soil-life promotion and the avoidance of pesticides and herbicides. In the cellar, spontaneous fermentation, gentle vinification, minimal intervention and reduced SO₂ reflect its “Less is more” philosophy. The wines range from elegant and silky to mineral, intense and powerful.
