Scala Cantina e Vigneti is a family-owned producer in Calabria’s Cirò DOC, founded in 1949 by Antonio Scala and now run by grandson Francesco Scala with his father Luigi. The estate has been dedicated to agriculture for generations and focuses on native varieties including Gaglioppo, Magliocco, and Greco Bianco. The original farmhouse and masonry vats used for red wine maturation have been preserved, reflecting a strong link to local tradition. In the cellar, these historic elements are paired with modern vinification and bottling technology. Vineyard and winery work follow organic methods from vine to bottle, and the estate holds SQNPI certification.
