Single Vineyard Pinot Noir

Quartz Reef is a Central Otago producer based in Bendigo, best known for méthode traditionnelle sparkling wines alongside Pinot Noir and aromatic whites. Founded in 1996 by Rudi Bauer, Trevor Scott, and John Perriam, it is today led in the cellar by Bauer as head winemaker. The estate has been farmed organically since 2007 and is certified by BioGro and Demeter, with biodynamic viticulture central to its identity. Notes also describe a non-interventionist approach and a strong emphasis on hand-crafted sparkling wine from estate fruit.
