Podere29 is a family-run winery in northern Puglia, near Cerignola and the coast, focused on expressing the region’s traditional grape varieties, particularly Uva di Troia and Susumaniello. Its vineyards are managed organically, with biodynamic principles including no irrigation or pesticides, spontaneous growth and hand cultivation; the estate is also described as certified organic. The winery emphasizes respect for the land, native varieties and low-intervention winemaking, using hand-harvesting, native-yeast fermentation, minimal sulfites and no added additives. Wines are made to convey the direct, sincere character of Puglia, with some receiving maturation in stainless steel and French oak. Podere29 has earned recognition in several international competitions and wine guides.
