Weingut Pittnauer is a family-run winery in Gols, Burgenland, led by Gerhard and Brigitte Pittnauer. Starting from vineyards inherited by Gerhard in 1992, the estate has grown while remaining hands-on and personally managed, with vineyard work, winemaking, and even packaging done in-house. The winery farms organically and biodynamically, describing its approach as “Moreganic!”, and is certified organic and Respekt-BIODYN; it also co-founded the Respect biodynamic group in 2007. Since converting to biodynamics in 2006, the Pittnauers have followed a minimalist, low-intervention philosophy focused on manual work, composting, and natural wine. Their self-described unconventional spirit and long involvement with Pannobile further distinguish the estate.
