La Battistina

Italy

La Battistina is an estate in Gavi, Piedmont, owned by the Araldica cooperative and one of its two estates. Its mature vineyards include five hectares in Gavi del Comune di Gavi, spread across eight plots on a prime south-facing slope with limestone-clay soils and vines averaging 35 years old. The estate holds SQNPI and bee-symbol certification for integrated, sustainable and eco-compatible crop management. Winemaking is led within the Manera family: Claudio Manera is Araldica’s lead winemaker and manager, while Lella Manera is a winemaker and heads quality control.
