Domaine Lise et Bertrand Jousset

France

Domaine Lise et Bertrand Jousset is a family-owned estate founded in 2004 by Lise and Bertrand Jousset in Montlouis-sur-Loire, in the Loire Valley, with vineyards also in Touraine. The couple own and run the domaine themselves, overseeing the work from vineyard to bottle. Farming is certified organic and has followed biodynamic methods since 2015, with no herbicides or pesticides and a strong focus on living soils, microbial activity, and biodiversity. In the cellar, they make low-intervention natural wines with no added yeasts, chaptalisation, acidification, or enzymes, and only minimal sulfur. The estate works across many small parcels, including old vines, and also runs the collaborative Exile project with like-minded partners.
