Emma & Christian Sorine run a family-owned Burgundy domaine based in Cheilly-lès-Maranges, with vineyards in Santenay, Chassagne-Montrachet, Maranges and Bourgogne Aligoté. Christian and Emma, both trained in oenology and viticulture, work alongside their son Paul. The estate follows reasoned, biodynamic-minded viticulture without formal certification, limiting chemical inputs and supporting biodiversity through beehives and Acacia trees. Grapes are manually harvested, with pneumatic pressing for whites and barrel ageing, using restrained new oak. Wines are bottled at the domaine under nitrogen with carefully managed sulphur use. The family has historical ties to Santenay, and the domaine was revived in 1925 before being developed by successive generations.
