Dirupi is a small alpine estate in Valtellina, Lombardy, founded in 2004 and owned and operated by winemakers Pierpaolo Di Franco and Davide Fasolini. Its certified-organic vineyards lie at 400–600 metres on steep, historic terraces, with sites spread across challenging Alpine terrain and soils of sand, silt and clay. Farming is carried out by hand, including harvesting, with a sustainable, low-intervention approach. The two co-owners oversee the entire process from viticulture through bottling, producing wines that reflect the character of high-altitude terraced vineyards.
