Château de la Durandière

France

Château de la Durandière is a small, family-run estate in Saumur, in France’s Loire Valley. Owned by the Bodet family and managed by Etienne Bodet and Maison Bodet-Hérold, the estate farms vineyards on Bathonian limestone, including the Clos Durandière plot. The vineyards are cultivated using organic and biodynamic methods, without formal certifications cited, and yields are kept low. Etienne Bodet oversees both viticulture and winemaking, giving the estate a closely hands-on, family-led approach.
