Château d'Aqueria is a historic family-run estate in the southern Rhône, rooted in Tavel and Lirac since 1595 and located in the heart of the garrigue. Long a reference for both appellations, it passed from the de Bez family to the Guigal family in 2022 and continues to operate as a separate domaine under Marcel and Philippe Guigal. HVE certified since 2014, the estate practices reasoned viticulture and is transitioning to organic farming, with a strong focus on biodiversity, water management, hand-harvesting, and respect for its varied terroirs. Its wines are made with precision to express the character, finesse, and elegance of Tavel and Lirac.
