Cantine Vittorio Innocenti is a family-run estate in the medieval village of Montefollonico, Tuscany, with historic cellars dating to the late 13th century. Founded by former philosophy teacher Vittorio Innocenti, it remains guided by his passion and intellectual direction, while son Tommaso and partner Vincenza “Nancy” Innocenti manage the estate today. Sustainable farming focuses primarily on Sangiovese, with vineyards extending across the hills between Montefollonico and Montepulciano, where clay and sandy soils contribute different expressions of body, character, elegance, and finesse. The wines are made with a hands-on, traditional approach, including rustic, old-school Chianti and Vin Santo matured spontaneously in caratelli, some around a century old. The estate preserves its identity as a small family winery devoted to distinctive wines.
