Borgo Alla Terra is a Tuscan label from Geografico, a cooperative winery founded in 1961 in Gaiole in Chianti and later established in San Gimignano. Collectively owned by local growers, Geografico brings together fruit from member vineyards across historic Tuscan appellations. Its vineyards include sites on Pliocene marine soils of yellow sands, tuff and clays, with south-eastern exposure, espalier training and spurred-cordon pruning. Winemaking focuses on controlled-temperature fermentation in stainless steel, preserving freshness and aromatic clarity, particularly in Vernaccia di San Gimignano.
