Founded in 1890 in Mendoza’s Maipú district, Bodegas Toso remains family-owned by the Toso wine family, with brothers Max and José Toso among its key members. Its vineyards are based at the Las Barrancas estate, around 750 metres above sea level, and are irrigated with Andes snowmelt. The winery focuses on premium Argentine reds, with winemaking led by Rolando Luppino and Rodrigo Romero, alongside consulting winemaker Paul Hobbs.
