Andeluna

Argentina

Andeluna is a mountain winery in Gualtallary, Tupungato, Mendoza, founded in 2003 and owned by the Barale family since 2013. Its vineyards sit at around 1,300 metres in the Andes, with stony alluvial soils, scarce rainfall, strong sunlight and marked thermal amplitude. The estate includes 80 hectares of vines of different ages, managed with drip irrigation, low-yield canopy practices and stated sustainable methods. Chief winemaker Jimena López brings 30 consecutive harvests of experience across more than seven countries, pursuing sincerity, transparency and careful vineyard work. Andeluna’s wines express their mountain origin: the 1300 range is young, fresh, fruity and mineral, while Altitud wines combine concentrated fruit and freshness with measured French and American oak ageing. The winery also uses foudres, ceramic spheres and clay amphorae.
