Riesling Zero

Dr. Fischer is a small, family-run estate in the Mosel’s Saar region, owned by Karin Fischer and her daughters. The winery focuses on premium cru Rieslings from steep, slate-rich vineyards, including Ockfener Bockstein and Steinberger in Filzen. Winemaking was revitalized in 2014 by Martin Foradori Hofstätter, who serves as winemaker and manager, with the Hofstätter family also linked to the brand. The estate is a VDP member and exports much of its production, primarily to the United States. No organic or biodynamic certifications are reported.
