Viña San Esteban is a family-owned winery in Chile’s Aconcagua Valley, founded in 1974 by José Vicente Kusanovic and later joined by his son Horacio. Its vineyards lie along the Aconcagua River, where sandy, low-fertility, well-drained soils support high-quality grapes. The winery’s philosophy is to express the distinctive character and terroir of each vineyard through careful winemaking. It received organic certification from German BCS ÖKO-GARANTIE in 2008 and certification under Chile’s Wine Industry Sustainability Code in 2015. Bordeaux-trained enologist Horacio Vicente Mena has served as chief winemaker since 2001.
