Sébastien Carreau is part of the seventh-generation Carreau family in Bordeaux, working in the Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux and Côtes de Bourg through the Bayle-Carreau vineyards near the Gironde estuary. Family-run across several châteaux, the estate is led by Sébastien alongside Nicolas Carreau and other family members. Farming is guided by Terra Vitis and HVE certification, with reasoned, low-intervention practices including reduced yields, green harvesting, grass cover between rows and limited chemical inputs, alongside a focus on biodiversity. The wines span red, white, rosé, crémant and pétillant styles, with careful blending and distinctive élevage highlighted at properties such as Château Eyquem and Château La Carelle.
